Pleione 'Glacier Peak (Hardy Orchid) New Additions The sheath around the needleFamily: Orchidaceae Zone: 7 9 Natural Range: China Soil: Moist, humus rich, well drained Light: Part shade, Shade Attributes: Deciduous, 6 8" tall. Blooms in spring. Blooms are large, white and yellow throat. Foliage is rounded with deep pleating. Each year the previous pseudobulb is replaced by new growth. Notes: Mulch pseudobulbs with a good layer of leaves in October November. Also works well as a potted plant. If potted tuck in a cool garage
