La Mailloche comes from a prized lieu dit of degraded Lias clay over limestone terroir that pushes the fruit toward stony precision rather than richness. Vinified in the topped up (ouill) style with no oxidative aging, then raised roughly two years in barrel with a modest fraction new. The 2023 carries
